I cut four inches off my hair but the God-King didn't notice until I pointed it out - repeatedly.

"Oh," he said. "Well it's not very much."
"It's a third of my hair!" I cried.
"I'm a guy. I apologize for my guy-ness. If you'd lost a third of your boobs, I'da noticed!"

I was talking with a man at church [poetry] last night. He was from out of town. He comes to Newark regularly for business. He read about the reading in the local paper and came to check it out. I've been wearing angry eyeshadow lately.
Not on purpose. See I ran out of the pink. That only leaves me with the grays and the neutrals, which, apparently, look angry on my eyes.
But I AM angry, so... it works out.
Cuz on days like today, when I put on eye-liner, I look positively MEAN. ;)

- We watched the last Star Trek TNG episode last night so I am now caught up on the whole series. As luck would have it, we could commemorate the event with a Family Guy episode wherein Stewie gets the specs for transporter at a Trekkie Con and beams the entire cast of TNG into his bedroom. I don't handle it well.
I guess it's because

I henna-ed my hair.
COMPLETE waste of time.

In my own defense, the box had little samples of what the dye would look like on your natural color, and they had one as dark as mine. It's supposed to look like the red in the trees today. But it just looks like the hair on my head yesterday.

SIGH.

I got a new-to-me pair of button-fly jeans with the knee ripped out.
I'm wearing them to work.
I feel like SUCH the rebel.  :)
